Paweł Dróżdż, MSc

My name is Paweł Dróżdż. By profession I am automation specialist. I graduated Electrical Department at Wroclaw University of Technology. My field of stady was Automation and Robotics with specialization in Automation of Machines, Devices and Vehicles.

 

I am passionate in electronical engineering and programing. I am ambitious and I aim with my goals for the sky. I tried myself in electronics already in high school. I made then remote toy of a crane.

During my studies I have been continuing progression in my interests by actively participation in extra-study activities. I was a member of students scientific association SNS Automatyk by the Energoelectric Catedral of the Electrical Department at Wroclaw University of Technology. After some time I was also vice president of the association. I committed a lot of projects on my own as well as in a group. Among others:

• automatic irrigation system steered by Programable Logic Controller (PLC) (2-people group),

• stair lift for diseased people steered by microprocessor system (2-people group),

• application for Android system intended for control of a house made for disabled person. Project consisted also of  a crane model which is helpful for disabled people in order to transporting them to the bathtub (2-people group),

• teddy bear who imitates playing guitar in a rhythm of playing music from SD card (individual project).

 

Nowadays I have been working on the next project (3-people group) and I have endless number of ideas in my mind which I would love to accomplish in the future.

With immense willingness I undertake a work where I will be able to develope my C/C++ programistic skills. Why just C/C++? The answer is easy - I want the to have a job where I will be able to fulfill myself. This language gives immense opportunities to project a PC application as well as hardware one's (for microprocessor systems). It is said that job never make you happy but when you work in a field you are fascinated in, then it is easier to engage yourself and find a sense in your job. For that reason, despite I have no professional experience in this scope, I would love to develop my abilities in the field and to be proud of my work.

I know that the world goes forward. Nowadays at the market there starts to appear completely new solutions in the field ofprogramming of microprocessors - microPython. There are no obstacles, however, to learn new languages in the future. What are my goals in this direction? Most of all, to be professional C/C++ programmer, to get to know additional languages which are helpful in WEB application programming (HTML CSS, PHP) and to familiarise myself better with Linux systems. Combining these abilities I will be more proud of myself (perhaps I will make a project of intelligent installation in my own house and finalize it? Who knows...) but also I will give a reason to my employer to be proud of myself. Goals are worth of devoting such lot of forces...
