I have realized during the bachelor studies that pure studies do not satisfy me. For that reason I decided that I must devote my private time to learning things which allow me to fulfill myself.

In the second year of studies I joined the students scientific association SNS Automatyk at Wroclaw University of Technology. Despite of many lacks in abilities in programming of Programable Logic Controllers (PLC) together with my collegue, we undertook of realisation of irrigation system model controlled by PLC Siemens S7-1200. It was easy conception of resistance measurement of soil humidity system which was responsible of switching on and off a water pump (using hysteresis control characteristic). I have participated also in Student Activity Days (DAS) where I presented projects made by our association.

In the third year of studies when the lineup of the association was changing members proposed me to become vice president and I agreed. During that time together with the members, we have given a lecture of PLC programming techniques for middle and high schools. That lectures were financed by Bosh and have had also a form of a competition for students scientific associations. The competition consisted in choosing the most interesting course (the voters were students which was participating in lectures). Our association won that competition for what we got a cash-reward.

After that success I gave a proposal to the members of our association to make a big project together - a model of intelligent house intended for disabled person controlled using application on a device with Android system. Unfortunately, the idea has had no approval among the members, thus I decided to make it by my own but in smaller scale. I begun learning basics of Java/Android and after nearly 3 months I wrote first version of application. After some time I invited my cousin to the cooperation because my knowledge about servers was very bad. He was responsible for servers applications. In such a way the first version of application which cooperated with a TCP server (client-server). Running out in time a bit I mention that on basis on this idea the idea of my engineering project was born. Later I built a crane for disabled person model. This crane imitated device helpful in transporting disabled person to a bathtub. Finally, the project was described and published in the journal Zeszyty Naukowe Instytutu Maszyn, Napędów i Pomiarów Elektrycznych Politechniki Wrocławskiej entitled: "Intelligent building control system adapted for disabled person with use of mobile devices with Android system".

Being proud of my project of intelligent house I was keen on doing the next model together with my friend - stair lift for disabled people. The model was quite big because we used a gantry taken from the old scanner. For that reason we were not able to integrate this model with the rest project.

Just before graduation I undertook 3-months internship in JaDan company where I was responsible among others for assembling and servicing control cabinets intended on electrical drives. I also participated during implementations in Cooper Works in Legnica as well as in heat an power plant in Wrocław. For that reason I had to make a mind of resignation of the vice president of SNS Automatyk because I thought that person having this position has to engage fully in developing the association.

I graduated bachelor January 15'th 2015 with honors as the best graduate at Electrical Department in a year 2015.
